When selecting equipment, we place emphasis on keeping Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) low – parts availability is guaranteed for up to 8 years, in addition, selected equipment carries a 3 year warranty.


1) Point-of-Sale (POS) Equipment:

1.1) Arch TowerPOS:

The TowerPOS was designed in-house, calling on experience gained in retail operations. This elegant all-in-one touch screen POS system delivers superb performance in high volume retail environments. It comes with an integrated vertical scanner and a 72mm thermal slip printer. Our TowerPOS uses the newest Skylake technology, which ensures high processing performance for cashiers. It is further equipped with the top rated, energy efficient Intel Skylake U CPU (central processing unit). Electronic advertising can be done on the customer display and the device customised through branding of the customer signing plate.

1.2) Arch Mini-Tower POS:

This elegant compact All-in-One touch screen POS machine was developed with the primary objective to offer a smaller Tower POS at check-out points where space comes at a premium (e.g. kiosks). It offers superb performance in high volume retail environments. It comes with an integrated vertical scanner and an 80mm thermal printer. Our Tower POS uses the Intel Atom D2550 1.86 GHz Low Power Processor, ensuring high processing performance.

1.3) Arch AP-301:

.

This is a modular 15″ LED touchscreen employing PCAP (Projected Capacitive Touch) technology for superior quality and improved durability. All-in-one POS terminal equipped with a VESA mount bracket in both the back cover and the stand. The aesthetic design of the chassis and the stand offers a convertible option between a desktop POS, a wall-mounted POS and integration into TowerPOS (see TowerPOS above). The AP-301 provides seamless integration of modular peripherals such as MSR, Fingerprint Reader, Second Display and Customer Display, making it perfect for retail. Fan-less technology and an external power supply, support our low maintenance objective.

1.4) Conventional PC-POS:

This versatile conventional PC can be used either as a POS, or in the back office for capturing purchase orders, GRV’s and for doing cash-up’s. It is a fan-less machine with an external power supply (low maintenance). The dual core low energy CPU, makes this a very energy efficient choice. The relatively small dimensions of the unit, ensures that space is utilised optimally.

1.5) Arch POS Customer Pole Display:

This small compact POS customer display is light weight and modern in design. Through various applications, it fits in many different business environments such as retail, hospitality, speciality shops etc. In addition to displaying transactional data at POS, it can also be used as digital signage, making it suitable to run advertisements at POS. Through the pole stand the monitor is adjustable and can be fixed easily in the required position by the individual operator.

1.6) Arch POS Receipt Printer:

It is a particularly fast thermal receipt printer with a printing rate of up to 260 mm/s at a resolution of 203 dpi. The compact size makes this dependable model absolutely ideal for application in limited space. It supports top or front paper loading, has a low printing noise and has 2″ and 3″ printing paper widths available. A wide range of interface and port options allows easy installation and simple integration to either POS environments or POS solutions. This printer is the component of choice in the TowerPOS terminal.

1.7) Arch POS Vertical Scanner:

This bar code reader brings new imaging technology to high-volume point-of-sale. It is the first bar code scanner to duplicate the speed and wide field-of-view of high-performance omni-directional laser scanners while adding the benefits associated with imaging. This imaging technology provides outstanding performance when capturing hard-to-read bar codes such as truncated (short), out-of-spec, poorly printed and GS1 DataBar(tm) codes. It further provides support for both linear (1D) and 2D label decoding.

2) Back Office Machines:

Back office systems ensure greater efficiency and security in a retail store operation. Our machines run all management tasks associated with retail operations. These include monitoring store performance, receiving product, ordering product, conducting price maintenance tasks, among others.  Our PC’s are custom built in line with our low maintenance ethos, ensuring durability and reliability in the store back office where important managerial functions are performed.

3) Servers:

Managing your operational data warehouse is critical to the success of your operation. The server is central to this and the operational heart of your business. Server quality is non-negotiable to ensure system integrity. Our servers are custom-built in support of this. Server type is primarily determined by store size. We install a Small, Medium or Enterprise server depending on the operational needs.

4) Personal Digital Assistant

A hand-held workstation, designed for versatile applications in receiving, on-the-shelf product management and security checks at the store exit.  Arch Mobile, our in-store mobile management solution, is run on this versatile piece of equipment. It has an application not only in retail, but also in warehouses, distribution centres, logistics, postal services and even manufacturing.  The mobile device is also CCX v.4 certified which provides a secure and compatible connection with industrial wireless networks.  It is the most rugged in its class (1.8 meter drop resistance and IP65 water/dust proof as well as 1,000 cycles at 1meter-tumble). It further has an IP65 rating compared with other products that are typically rated with IP54 (increased durability in harsh conditions).

5) In-store Price Checkers:

We offer two options for the in-store convenience of shoppers.  Strategically placed in the store, it provides them with the convenience to check product prices. The first model  is an entry level, small and attractive price checker with latest technology. Interfacing is either through Wireless RF or wired Ethernet. The bright display has, depending on the font set, 3 or 5 lines and can display up to 20 characters per line. The second model is a high quality multi-functional information terminal, combining all functions of a compact kiosk and classic price checker. The Information Terminals come with touch screen and multi-media features, helping the customer to find/receive information and product pricing easily. It further has multi-media expansion to support images, sound and videos.
